A status yellow warning for snow and ice remains in place for Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
The warning is mainly concetrated in the west and north west and is in place until 10am this morning.
It comes ahead of the arrival of Storm Denis this weekend - which will bring wet and windy conditions.
