Yellow wind warning in place for the north west

A yellow wind warning's in effect for the region until 7pm this evening .

A Status Orange and yellow rainfall warning has been issued for Southern parts of the country.

Liz Walsh from Met Eireann has been telling Ocean FM that strong winds will continue impact the region for the remainder of the day.
