A Sligo Leitrim TD has revealed that she and the US President found common ground during their meeting yesterday.
Representing the Independent Group, Deputy Marian Harkin met and spoke with Joe Biden prior to his address to the Dail.

Mr. Biden will depart Dublin this lunchtime and travel to Ireland West Airport where he'll visit the Knock Shrine, and the Mayo-Roscommon Hospice.
Deputy Harkin has been telling Ocean FM news how the encounter went and says his visit today will undoubtedly put the region on a world stage:
