Carmel O’Brien (née Blythe)

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Sligo University Hospital. Carmel, predeceased by her beloved husband Tommy, brother Dermot and sister Madeline Honan.

Loving mother of Rory, Mary, Patrick and Cormac and dear grandmother of Cian, Aaron, Laoise, Robyn, Lauren, Aoife, Shona and Tadgh.

She will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law John Moynihan, daughter-in-law Orla, Cormac’s partner Charlotte, brother Vinnie, sisters Aileen Lowery, Moira Gautron and Rosaleen Jones, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at her residence on Wednesday evening from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo for Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12:00pm.

A private Cremation Service will take place for family after.
