Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital.
Predeceased by his parents Jack and Margaret, sister Ann Sweeney and partner Ann O'Grady.
Deeply regretted by his sisters Madeleine (Meath), Agnes (Kildare), Margaret and Liz (Skreen), brothers Ben (Leitrim), John (Kildare), brothers in law Jack, Noel and Mick, sisters in law Kathleen and Ann, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Sweeney's Funeral Home, Dromore West, Sunday 1st January from 4:30pm to 6:30pm with removal to Saint Adamnans Church, Skreen arriving at 7pm.
Funeral mass on Monday 2nd at 11am with burial afterwards in St Tiernans Cemetery, Crossmolina.
