December 04, 2023, after a short illness, Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, Will always be remembered and loved by her daughter Paula and granddaughter Kyra. Sadly missed by her sister, Pam, brother in law Dan, nieces, nephew, neighbours and a close circle of friends.

Requiem mass will take place in Nazareth House Chapel, Church Hill, Sligo on Thursday 07 Dec at 12noon. A private cremation will take place at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan. Geraldine returned to Sligo after almost 50 years away .She settled in quickly and made many friends in the neighbourhood and the clubs she joined. Lockdown was very difficult for her and she grew frail and anxious .Her neighbours ,carers family and friends,all ensured that she was safe at home until her last short stay in hospital.
