Peacefully, at Sligo University Hospital. Gertrude, beloved wife of the late Gerry Mannion and dear mother of Aidan, Geraldine (Belfast), Dermot, Grainne, Deirdre Whyte (Ballina), Aengus, Ultan and Fergus; sister of Ita Gray and sister in law of Tony Gray and Anne (Née Mannion) and Liam Mac Mathúna. Predeceased by her parents, Edward and Jessie O’Grady and her sisters; Mae Mullin, Josephine, Sheila Rhymer, Doreen Lang and Monica. Gertrude will be very sadly missed by all including her daughters in law, sons in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing at her residence on Circular Road (F91VPN8) on Sunday from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Monday afternoon at 2:00pm for Requiem Mass. Burial will take place at St Nathy’s Cemetery Collooney, Co Sligo.
