22nd August, 2021, Peacefully at the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo, after a long illness borne with great courage, patience and dignity. Predeceased by her father Jim. Dearly loved wife of Tom, Adored Mother of Caoilfhionn and Lucy. Sadly missed by her loving family: Mother Ena; Sister Orlaith; Brothers; Niall, Seamus, Paul and Ronan. Mother-in-law Maureen, Sisters-In-Law Audrey, Lorraine, Yvonne, Mary and Nicole. Brother in Law; John. Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousins, Relatives and a wide circle of friends. R.I.P.
Removal from her home at Cloonamanagh at 10.15am Wednesday travelling via her family home at Breeogue,to The Star of the Sea Church, Ransboro, Sligo to arrive for Mass of Christian burial at 11am. (The funeral Mass can be viewed live on seamus feehily and son facebook page.) Cremation to follow in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3pm which can be viewed live on lakelandscrematorium.ie (password Lakelandsfuneral2021), please note capital L on password. Due to the current HSE restrictions on funeral gatherings, house private to family only please. Church restricted to 50 people. Deeply saddened to hear of Grainne’s untimely passing. She was a beautiful person and a gifted artist. Living in Breeogue I was always so proud to give Breeogue pottery gifts to friends & acquaintances. I always felt a sense of peace and serenity in Grainne’s workshop. Sincere condolences to all of the family. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
