Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the care of the nurses, carers and staff at St. John’s Community Hospital, Ballytivnan, Sligo. Helen, predeceased by her beloved husband James and her dear sister May Canny (Dublin). Loving mother of Nora, Helen, Louise, Denise and James. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, son, her brother Joe (Dublin), grandchildren Mark Elaine, Clara, Kate, Shauna, Freya, Leela and Adele, great-grandchildren Thomas and Niamh, sons-in-law Keith Clarke, Gerry McGowan and Michael Goodman, daughter-in-law Marita Currid, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Thursday evening from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to St. Anne’s Church, Sligo on Friday morning at 11:00am for requiem mass with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.
