Peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife Patricia and his baby son, John, his father and mother Owen and Catherine Davey, brothers Tom and Eugene, sisters Kathleen Flanagan and Bridget Finan.
James will be mourned and sadly missed by his daughters Ellen and Caitriona, sons Kieran and Andrew, sons-in-law Oliver and Evan, partner Marcella, brother John (Dublin), Sisters Marry Streete, Sligo, Margaret Stuart Riverstown, Phil (Warde, Carraroe) and Geraldine (Cassidy, Cavan), sisters-in-law Joan (Davey, Ballygawley), May (Davey, Coola), Delia (Fahey, Ballinacarrow), grandchildren Jack & Kayleigh Dillon, Aaron Quinn, Katie, Ava, David & Liam McKenna and Robyn & Eóghan Davey, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at his residence (Eircode F91 X244) on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm.
Funeral cortège will leave James’s residence on Friday at 11:15a.m., travelling via the Dowra Line to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, Sooey for Requiem Mass at 12p.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.
