Peacefully, surrounded by his family at Galway University Hospital.

Jim, predeceased by his father Henry and mother Tessie and step-son Robert. He will be sadly missed and remembered by his sisters Kathleen, May, Bridgie, Mina, Aileen, Jackie, Geraldine, Hilda and Fiona, brothers John, Willie, Martin and Harry, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, his partner Margaret, children and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at The Foley and McGowan Funeral Home, Market Yard, Sligo on Sunday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Funeral will arrive to The Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, Sligo on Monday morning for Requiem mass at 11:30am with funeral proceeding to Sligo Cemetery for burial after.
