Predeceased by his parents John Joe and Helena Flanagan, Drumrain, Riverstown and his sister Maureen Kearns, Emlaghfad, Ballymote.

Deeply regretted by his brothers Tommie (Drumrain) and Michael (Salthill), sister-in-law Ann Flanagan (Salthill), nephews James Kearns and Noel Kearns, nieces Margaret Kearns, Helen Kearns, Anne Kearns, Lily Noone, Julie Tansey, Catherine O Sullivan, Paula Flanagan (Galway) and Edel Flanagan (Galway), grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at the Church of the Assumption, Sooey on Tuesday evening from 6p.m. to 7.30p.m. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2p.m. Burial afterwards in Killery Cemetery. Joe’s mass will be available to view on streamingmassonline.ie/church-of-the-assumption-sooey-live-stream/
