September 7th 2022- Peacefully surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff at The North West Hospice, Sligo. John will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his devoted parents Frank and Mary, brothers and sisters Owen, Sharon, Francis, Peter, Brian and Maria, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and staff in Cloonamahon Day Centre, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. John will repose at O’Dowd’s Funeral Home, Gurteen, on Thursday (September 8th) from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his home on Friday to St. Patrick’s Church, Gurteen, for Mass of the Resurrection at 1pm with burial afterwards in Carrowntemple Cemetery. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed via webcam on www.churchtv.ie/gurteen
