The death has occurred of John Mc Namara

41 Thornhill, Sligo (F91FFY2), formerly of Cavan and late of John Mc Namara Hardware, High Street, Sligo

Peacefully on August 10th 2022, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the doctors, nurses and staff of the North West Hospice, The Mall, Sligo following a long illness borne with courage and dignity.
Predeceased by his parents Hugh and Kathleen and brother Tom.
Beloved husband and best friend of Noreen, dearly loved dad of Sinéad, Colin, Ronan and Kieran and cherished grandad of Meelagh, Rowan, Conor, Holly, Emma-Jane, Cara and Réaltín (born an angel).
He will be sadly missed by his wife, daughter, sons, grandchildren, sisters Mary (Dublin) and Breda (Donegal), daughters-in-law Jeni, Laura and Emma, son-in-law Andy, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Rest in peace.
Reposing at his home on Friday August 12th from 4pm until 7pm. Family home private at all other times.
Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday August 13th at 11:30am in the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo. Funeral Mass will be livestreamed via www.sligocathedral.ie Burial will follow in Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road, Sligo.
