My sincerest condolences to the Burke and Timbs families. I am so shocked and saddened to get this news in Geneva this evening. Linda was highly thought of in her days as a beautician here, we were queuing up for her and always had a warm welcome from her. She was so efficient! I remember her love of the Rajpoute restaurant and her sharing her Indian recipes with me - I continue to use her butter chicken recipe today! We used to cross paths too in the corridors of WHO, in Paddy's in Ferney and at the Ferney market from time to time - each time there was plenty of chat and laughter. May she rest in peace.
