October 27, 2023, Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents James and Bridget and brothers Jimmy and Reverend Father Martin. Beloved wife of Basil. Loving Mother of Lynn (Fergal), Stacey (Stevie) Ross (Sarah) and adored Granny of Kayden, Kai, Odhrán, Oisín, Páidí and Ella. Sadly missed by her sisters Sheila, Nuala, Bridie, and Linda, brothers Michael, Alfie and Leo, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at McGloin’s funeral home Cliffoney on Sunday evening from 3pm to 6pm. Marie’s funeral cortege will arrive at the church of Mary Immaculate Grange on Monday for Requiem Mass at 12pm. Burial afterwards in Rathcormac cemetery. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies can do so on the condolence section below.
