Passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on November 8th, 2023.
Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Ellen Scanlon, and sister Mary Lawlor.
Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Joan, sons Joseph and Michael John and daughters Ann, Fiona and Elaine and brother Frank and sisters Kathleen (Healy) and Eileen (Galligan), brother in-law, sister in-law, daughter-in-law Fiona, sons-in-law Scott, Owen and Yann and grandchildren Amy, Erica, Gráinne, Niall, Aoife, Séan, Lily, Eva, Alexa, Louis and Molly, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Michael James will repose at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote Friday 10th November from 6pm-8pm. Eircode: F56 TK20

Michael James’ funeral Mass will be in the Church of the Sacred Heart, Bunninadden at 11am on November 11th. Burial afterwards in Cloonameehan cemetery.
