Michael McGovern

Ronan Flanagan -
Michael McGovern

Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, following a short illness.

Predeceased by his wife Nora and son Michael Anthony.

Deeply regretted by his devoted family, his sons and daughters; John Martin (Liz)   (Florencecourt), Olivia Markey (Brian) (Virginia),  Ronan (Glan), Jeremiah (Lorraine) (Ballinaglera) and Bernadette Markey (Noel) (Drumgoon) & daughter in law Chrissie. Also sadly missed by his sisters Mary Maggie McMahon and Elizabeth Curry (Belturbet), sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and a large circle of loyal neighbours and friends.

Remain reposing at his daughter in law Chrissie's residence  from 3-9pm on Thursday.  House. Strictly private at all other times, please.

Requiem Mass on Friday at St. Patrick's Church, Blacklion at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Glangevlin.

Due to the widespread of Covid, the family would appreciate that people file past the remains and the family, and that there is no handshaking in the house.

Masks to be worn in the family home due to rise in number of  Covid cases.
