Peacefully, surrounded by his loving wife and family, under the exceptional care of the nurses, doctors, and staff of the Medical Seven Ward at Sligo University Hospital.
Owen Roe had previously been in the excellent care of the staff at the Garden View Ward, Ballyshannon Community Hospital, GP’s at Bayview Family Practice. Special thanks also to his carers and members of National Ambulance Service.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Frank and Agnes O’Neill, loving sisters Cait and Ann, and brother, Joe.
Dearest and most beloved husband and best friend of Maura (née Rasdale), adored father to his sons, Shane, Eoghan Ruadh, and Barry, and his cherished daughter, Louise.
A cherished grandad to his ten grandchildren: Orlaith, Sean, Callum, Holly, Emma, Oisín, Saoirse, Owen, Joshua, and Charlotte.
Deeply missed by his daughters-in-law, Mary, Cathy, and Lorraine, and his son-in-law, Anthony.
Sadly missed by nieces Marie, Siobhan (David) and Grainne (Tommy), and by his brothers-in-law, Tony (Ann) and Gerard (Josephine, RIP) and their families.
Reposing at his late residence on Monday and Tuesday from 2 o’clock to 8 o’clock. Removal on Wednesday from his residence at 10.20a.m going to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for Mass of the Resurrection at 11 o’clock with service of Interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, The Rock, Ballyshannon.
