What a Lovely Farewell Celebration of the Mass for Patricia this was! Listening from Jacksonville, FL I was reminded of our first trip to Ireland in 2008 and meeting Patricia and Tim who were welcoming and eager to show us the area. My Maternal Granny, Honoria Finan grew up on Hoburn St, Sligotown, before emigrating to America as a young adult, like so many others at the time, in the early 1900’s. Patricia was warm and friendly and we had a lovely dinner at a favorite restaurant, a cead mille failte from Tim. Surely Patricia was there with you all, holding hands with all her family with her in Heaven to pray the Our Father along with you. Listen for her “Heavenly messages” to you all comforting you and assuring you she’s HOME now and eager to welcome you there too in God’s time. Thank you, Fr Rooney for your beautiful, comforting words during Mass, honoring Patricia and her life of service and deep love for others in this life. We have a Fr Ed Rooney here in retirement in FL maybe a cousin perhaps. God be with you all there.✝️❤️ Kathleen (Finan Walsh) & Jim Coleman
