Seamus (Jimmy) McHugh,

t is with great sadness that the death is announced of Seamus (Jimmy) McHugh on 28 January 2025.

Peacefully, in the exceptional and gentle care of the staff of Sligo University Hospital, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity.

Beloved brother of Maura Wilcox, John, Noreen Mullin, Josephine Loughrey, Noel, Gerry, Brendan, Therese Schmidt and Paul. Pre-deceased by his parents Theresa and Seán McHugh and nephew John. Seamus will be sadly missed by his sisters and brothers, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass at 10am at St Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon, F94 PF53 on Friday 31st January. Followed by burial at Tuam Cemetery at approximately 3:00pm.
