Sean McQuaid

McQuaid (Newry) died 28th December 2024 peacefully at his home. Sean RIP. Loving husband of Sarah and much-loved father of Nuala, Siobhan, Mairead, John, Grainne, Oonagh and Hugh. Brother of Vera, Hugh, Anne, Brian, Rosaleen and the late Jim and Maura. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

His remains will repose at his home 54A Damolly Road, Newry on Sunday and Monday from 1pm-9pm. House private for family on Tuesday morning. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11am in St. Mary’s Church, Chapel Street. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, family circle and friends.

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to Southern Area Hospice Services c/o Charles Digney and Sons Funeral Directors, Sugarhouse Quay, Newry.
