Member of Cavan County Council.

Peacefully at home in the loving care of his family after a long illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his parents John F. and Jane, his sister Sr. Kathleen and his brother Stephen.
Dearly beloved husband of Anne (née Byrne-Kingscourt), much loved father to Eimear (Shane McManus), Áine (Cian O’Brien), Conor (Leanne Connell) and Kilian (Jordan Lambe), and adored grandfather to Enda, Dearbhla, Senan, Ríain and Méabh. Sadly missed by his sister Carmel Fitzgerald (London), brothers Hughie (Ann-Oxford), Noel, Fr Tommy, Ben and Brendan (Anne), his brothers-in-law Pat and Seamus, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, a wide circle of friends and his Council and Cavan/Monaghan ETB colleagues.

Reposing at Smith's funeral home, High Street, Ballinamore (N41TD62) on this Monday evening from 5pm until 8pm
Removal from his home on Tuesday arriving to St. Mogue's Church Bawnboy for Funeral Mass at 1pm followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Family flowers only, please.
