Edward [Eddie] McCaffrey Assaroe Road, Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at his residence. Remains will repose today from 3pm until 8pm for family, friends and staff only, with removal on Wednesday to arrive in St. Joseph’s Church, The Rock, Ballyshannon for 12 noon funeral mass, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery. Due to the current Covid-19 guidelines, house, funeral mass and burial are private to family and friends only. Due to the death of Managing Director Edward McCaffrey [Senior], Patrick McCaffrey and Sons Ltd Quarry will be closed until Thursday 10th September.

 

Nora Cavanagh, (nee Cuffe), Finod, Easkey, Co. Sligo.  Remains reposing at her home, for family and close friends, this evening from 5pm to 7pm. The funeral cortege will leave her home on Wednesday morning at 11 o’clock, arriving at St James’s  Church, Easkey for 11:30am.  Funeral Mass followed by burial in Roslea Cemetery, Easkey  Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to the Patients Comfort Fund of Sligo University Hospital, C/o Gerard Clarke & Sons Funeral Directors, Ballisodare, Co. Sligo. Due to government directives and HSE guidelines, the funeral mass will be for family and close friends. Peter Cornyn, Corlisbannon, Dowra, Co. Cavan. Peacefully at his residence. Remains arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Doobally, Dowra at 7pm on Wednesday evening. Funeral mass on Thursday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Due to government guidelines on Covid 19 removal and funeral will be private to family only. Anyone wishing to convey their sympathies can do so in Doobally church car park keeping a distance of 2 metres and no hand shaking. Condolences can be left on rip.ie

 

Kathleen Healy nee Cawley, Rathdooney Beg, Ballymote, Co Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at her residence today from 2pm. Removal on Wednesday morning to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Ballymote, to arrive for funeral mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St Columba’s Cemetery. House is private to family members on Wednesday morning. Due to government directives and HSE guidelines, the funeral mass will be for family and close friends. Condolences can be left on rip.ie.

 

Charlotte Oates (nee Grieve), Faughts Lane, Calry, Co Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at the home of her son Pauric, Faughts Lane, Calry this evening from 5pm to 9pm. Removal to St Patrick's Church, Calry on Wednesday to arrive for Requiem Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in Rathcormac cemetery.  Due to government directives and HSE guidelines the house and church will be restricted to family and friends. Anyone wishing to offer their condolences can do so on rip.ie. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to The Alzheimer's Society, Sligo.

 

 

IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, CURRENT RESTRICTIONS ON ATTENDANCE AT FUNERALS IS A MAXIMUM OF FIFTY PEOPLE AND ONLY MEMBERS OF THE HOUSEHOLD, CLOSE FAMILY…..OR CLOSE FRIENDS IF THE DECEASED HAS NO HOUSEHOLD OR FAMILY MEMBERS.
