Michael Moran Jr., 5 Moyfenrath, Enfield, County Meath, and formerly Ashwood, Kinlough, County Leitrim. Tragically. Son of retired Garda Mick Moran. Remains reposing at his late residence today until 10pm. Removal on Thursday to arrive at St. Aidan’s Church, Kinlough, for 11am funeral mass followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan, at 2.30pm.

 

Charlie McGovern, known as ‘Cha’, Doonmackieever, Glangevlin, County Cavan. Peacefully at his residence. Removal from his residence to St. Patrick’s Church, Glangevlin, for 7pm. Requiem mass on Thursday at 12 noon, with burial afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. House is private at all other time please. Road diversions will be in place, please follow the directions.

 

David Fox, Treacy Avenue, Sligo, and formerly Banberry and Oxfordshire, England. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Funeral to arrive at the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception, Sligo, for Mass of Christian Burial at 11.30am on Thursday.  Burial to follow in Sligo Cemetery. House strictly private please.

 

Jackie O'Hara, Cloongoona, Tourlestrane, County Sligo. Peacefully at Sligo University Hospital. Reposing at Coen's Funeral Home, Tubbercurry, today until 8pm. Removal on Thursday to St. Attracta’s Church, Tourlestrane, arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12 noon, with the funeral proceeding to Rhue Cemetery. House private please. Enquiries to Coen’s Funeral Directors.

 

Canon Brian McNamara, Derrylin, and formerly parish priest of Killesher, County Fermanagh. Remains will be reposing at his home, Main Street, Derrylin, this evening from 7pm. Removal on Thursday evening to arrive for 7pm at St Ninnidh’s Church, Derrylin. Requiem mass on Friday at 12 noon in Derrylin followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Killesher.

 

Nora Visscher, nee Ford, Groningen, Holland, and formerly of 27 St. Anne’s Terrace, Sligo. Sister of Martin and Eric Ford, Sligo; Joseph, Patrick and Owen, UK; and Breedge, Holland. Funeral will take place in Holland on Monday.

 

Mary McGowan, Knocknacross, Riverstown, County Sligo. Peacefully at Drumderrig Nursing Home, Boyle. Reposing at Perry’s Funeral Home, Ballymote, on Thursday from 5pm until 7pm with removal afterwards to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Riverstown, arriving at 7.30pm. Funeral mass will take place on Friday at 12 noon with burial afterwards in Townagh Cemetery. House private please.
