Defence Minister to be contacted over standing down of Sligo Civil Defence search boats

Volunteer members of Sligo Civil Defence want an explanation from Sligo County Council as to why two search boats which are manned by their members have been stood down. The two boats and equipment, worth 100k, remain in storage, and volunteer, John Barden, says the Minster for Defence needs to intervene in the matter
