Deposit Return Scheme unfair to small retailers claims Sligo businessman

Martin Foley, proprietor of Foley's Off Licence in Sligo, claims the newly -introduced Deposit Return Scheme for bottles and cans is disadvantageous to smaller retailers. He has installed a costly new Reverse Vending Machine in his premises. He also feels the public have not been properly informed on how the scheme will work
