Donegal Sinn Fein Deputy, Padraic Mac Lochlainn, has waded into the controversy over the plan to place portraits of more female politicians in Leinster House, alongside those of ex-Taoisigh. He has taken issue with reservations expressed by TD Michael Ring, who has criticised the Green Party proposal to honour Sarah Cecilia Harrison in this way - she being the first female member of Dublin City Council
