MEP MacManus insists cash needs to be retained in move to digital currency

The use and recognition of cash as legal tender within the EU must be retained in the move by the European Commission to a new digital euro currency. That's according to Sligo-based MEP, Chris MacManus, who is member of a group of MEPs preparing legislation for the move
