The Minster of State with responsibility for forestry, Michael Healy Rae earlier joined John Lynch to respond to criticism that has been levelled at both the government and himself over the response to recent storm damage.
Issues with forestry being too close to powerlines left many people without electricity for over 3 weeks.
The Kerry based Minister outlined what is being done to prevent such a situation happening again in the future.
