Seriously ill man waiting 19 hours in ED at Sligo Hospital before treatment

There have been calls for urgent reform of our health system after a seriously ill man was left waiting in the Emergency Department at Sligo Hospital for 19 hours during the Christmas period before being dealt with. The matter has been raised at a council meeting by Bundoran Cllr Michael McMahon, who has requested the council contact the Department of Health on the situation
