Mary Lou McDonald and Northern Ireland First Minister Michelle O'Neill have confirmed they will not travel to the White House to meet US President Donald Trump next month.

They have taken the decision in protest at President Trump’s comments and policy on Gaza.

The party Chief Whip and Donegal TD Padraigh Mac Lachlainn earlier joined John Lynch on North West today to discuss the decision.
