Sligo's councillors back moves to restrict student's mobile phone activity

Members of Sligo County Council are to write to the Minister for Education to request primary and secondary schools to restrict mobile phone use of its students. The proposal was put forward by Cllr Sinéad Maguire, who has been impressed with such a similar scheme in County Wicklow
