SVDP spokesperson says houses are crumbling as energy companies congratulate themselves for modest price reductions

There has been major media coverage in recent days about energy prices being cut by various suppliers.

The companies in question have received many plaudits in the media but not everyone is happy.

Lisa Mulligan works with the St Vincent De Paul in the north west and says this media campaign cannot be allowed to take the attention away from the fact there are many homes facing energy and food and heat poverty as a result of these increases.

She earlier explained how many families are still experiencing severe challenges when it comes to heating their homes.
