TD calls for checkpoints on bridges across River Shannon to prevent Dublin criminals coming West

Independent Ireland TD Michael Fltzmaurice has proposed the setting up on extra Garda checkpoints on al bridges across the River Shannon as a means of preventing Dublin-based criminal gangs from engaging in robberies in the West and North West of the country.
