With Tommie Gorman in your corner, anything was possible - Cancer patient Aimee pays tribute

Aimee of Grange in Co Sligo was diagnosed with cancer last September at the age of 40. She made contact with broadcaster, Tommie Gorman, when learning he had been dealing with the same form of cancer, and was shocked and overwhelmed at not only his immediate response, but his continuous support and encouragement, which even included him accompanying her to medical appointments - and he did this as a complete stranger to her
