Building Safer Communities initiative will include Donegal community

A community in Donegal will be one of 12 across Ireland that will benefit from a new project aimed at preventing problem drinking by young people.

The Building Safer Communities initiative is being launched today and will be set up in areas such as Letterkenny, Ballymun, and Listowell.

Alcohol Forum Ireland are helping to launch the event this morning which takes alcohol prevention lessons from the WHO and attempts to implement them in an Irish context.
