GRA President says yesterday’s events in Glenfarne shows the dangers facing Gardaí

The President of the GRA says the events in north Leitrim on Monday morning is a reminder of the dangers that Gardai face on a daily basis in the line of duty.

Two officers sustained injuries following a road collision on the N16 at Glenfarne

The officers were treated at the scene for non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the other car, a man aged in his 40s, was arrested at the scene.
