Latest Daft Reports indicates a slow down in rent increases

Sligo had the lowest rise in rents in the North West in the final three months of 2023.

The latest Daft.ie report shows that rents in Sligo were still 12.8% higher than a year previously.

In Leitrim, there was a 13% increase in rent prices while Donegal saw the biggest jump over the same period at just over 20%.

Ronan Lyons, author of the report, said the rate of increase nationally was down 50 per cent on 2022.
