There's further calls for a traffic management plan at the Rock Ballyshannon.
The area is home to Fr. Tierney Park and a number of other amenities however the route is said to be too narrow to cope with the large amount of traffic at certain times.
With the Donegal V Louth League game taking place there this weekend, Gardai are implementing a plan for match goers and residents in the area.
But local Fine Gael Cllr Barry Sweeney feels that a more permanent solution is needed as a matter of urgency.
