The amount of motorists' detected speeding on the N17 has been described as alarming.
It comes as more than 1,800 fixed charge notices issued to drivers caught speeding in County Mayo are being revoked.
It's after the camera on the N17 in County Mayo was found to not be certified.

But Fianna Fail Cllr Barry Gallagher says the camera glitch is clearly human error, and that the focus should be the high level of bad driver behaviour on the route itself:
