Barristers in Sligo say they're disappointed with the Government over a lack of action on pay restoration.
Barristers who work in criminal law are on strike for the first time today in a dispute about the Government's failure to reverse cuts to their pay imposed in the aftermath of the financial crash.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee previously indicated her support of pay restoration but the issue has not yet been resolved.
However following commentary from the Minister over the weekend, its believed that negotiations are ongoing as part of Budget 20204.
