Bundoran Councillor warns that absence of water technician could impact large areas of South Donegal

There are fears that large areas of South Donegal could be facing long delays in the event of disruption to the water supply.

Bundoran based Councillor Mick McMahon says it’s his understanding that there will be no Irish water technician on duty to cover the area for the next number of weeks.

The Sinn Fein Councillor says that large numbers of homes and businesses could be impacted if leaks took place in the infrastructure.

Speaking to ocean FM news he says Irish water are not providing an adequate service for the people of South Donegal.

He’s calling on Irish Water to provide clarity on the situation immediately
