Sligo County Council will be hearing calls today for a new Regional Veterinary Lab to be built as soon as possible.
Two new labs are to be built in Sligo and Kilkenny, but as it stands planning permission will be applied for separately, with Kilkenny being first.
Fianna Fail Cllrs Donal Gilroy and Liam Brennan are requesting that both builds be processed at the same time, to limit any delays.
