Coillte is facing pressure to ensure power lines in Leitrim are clear from forestry going forward.
It comes as there's still a number of premises without power in the region, almost one week after Storm Darragh tore through the North West, initially leaving thousands in the dark.
ESB Networks says the restoration has been slow, due to the regional spread of the damage.
