Candidates contesting the current Seanad elections have been outlining their respective campaigns have not been helped by the recent cold snap.
Dromard based Gerry McMunn is just one of those from the north west contesting a place on the agriculture panel.
Mr McMunn served on the Fine Gael National Executive for a period of 6 years.
