A Donegal-based GP is reminding the public of the dangers of measles following the death of a man linked to the virus.
The man in his 40s died in hospital in the Dublin and Midlands health region - it's believed he'd recently travelled to England.
Eleven cases of measles were reported in Ireland between 2020 and 2023 - there were no deaths linked to the virus during that time.
