Donegal GP gives cautious welcome to plans for extra GP places

A Donegal GP has given a cautious welcome to plans for extra GP places.

It's after the Health Minister Stephen Donnelly anticipates that the numbers of an intake are to rise by a third by 2024.

He says he's committed to increasing the country's medical workforce.

Minister Donnelly says it offers more training places to doctors who want to specialise as General Practitioners.
