A number of farming families in west Sligo are counting the cost following a fire earlier this year.
The blaze ravaged through over 100 acres of land, causing significant damage as a result.

It's understood that the fire was caused by someone burning rubbish however it's only recently emerged that farmers are being penalised regardless.
