Funding has been allocated for a new bus service that runs through North Leitrim to North Sligo via Ballintrillick.
The route will from Kinlough to Grange will be commenced by late July or August.
Sligo-Drumcliffe Independent Cllr Marie Casserly praised the announcement, Independent Deputy Marian Harkin, the Department of Transport, and those who pushed for it.
